Dear Alma, I'm researching Our lady of Guadalupe for a college course (I'm a 49 yr. old woman, east coast, coordinator of Rel. Ed.) I sat down to try to find a poster to use in my presentation and I ran across your web page. I am fascinated by it. I also deal with much repression - what is the Church so afraid of? But being from a mostly white society, I didn't realize what emotions "Our Lady" elicited from the Latino community. Thank you for being so brave. It seems you have had to deal with a lot. God bless you, and I'll pray for your continued strength. Patricia

Hang tough. It's great to live in a country where even the ignorant can say what they feel they must. But beware, when the ignorant come to power,
they will curtail any and all rights of free speech.
