What a sad state of affairs if the most famous
woman in history cannot be portrayed as a beautiful female with all her modesty
intact! Well done for "sticking to your guns" over this issue. It's
a pity people's strong religious feelings aren't offended by the real issues
in the world - maybe we would have less fighting and suffering.

PS I found your website via a BBC News link.

Dear Ms Lopez,
I was pleased to see that your digital print
will be remaining on display in New Mexico. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/english/entertainment/arts/newsid_1593000/1593519.

I find it hard to believe that anyone should
want to have this work of art removed from a museum - particularly when the
danger of any kind of religious 'extremism' has been made very clear by the
recent attacks in New York and the subsequent military action in Afghanistan.
I realise that as a white, English non-Catholic male I may not understand
all of the cultural and religious concerns that have been expressed, but I
support your work and congratulate the museum on continuing to show your art.
I wish you continuing success.

YOU ARE A DISGRACE. ALL YOU WANT IS ATTENTION TO YOURSELF. I HOPE YOU SUFFER THE CONSEQUENCES AFTER THIS. THE LORD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU.
