I'm really interested to know why you use the image of the 'Virgen Guadalupe' in your art. This is the first time that I have been expose to these images, therefore I would like to know more. Also, if you can please send me any information about this topic, I would apprciate it greatly. At the moment I must write a paper for one of my classes and the topic that I've chosen is about your art work and the meaning behind it. Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

I like your virgin and cannot understand the
harsh reaction to it. In todays art tolerance is important, even if
the proposal is not understood. I am not an advocate of "anything
goes", but this is really far from being offensive or unrespectful.
Congratulations and luck to you,

Finding your images on the net has been a great
resource. My thesis (Master of Visual Art Theory) is on Miraculous Image:
from apparition to website, with a chapter on the Virgin of Guadalupe in all
her historical and contemporary mutations. (I also lecture within a history
topic on the Virgin of Guadalupe.) I would like to reproduce images in my
thesis of your work as representing a contemporary Chicana approach (also
Yolande Lopez). Is there any reference books which include your work or is
the web the best source. I would appreciate any further information from you
