Unspeakable blasphemy against Our Lady of Guadalupe at Oakland Museum -- PROTEST

When Alma Lopez’s computer collage titled “Our Lady” appeared at Santa Fe’s Museum of International Folk Art in 2001, it unleashed a tsunami wave of controversy.

Press reports described the “art” exhibit as a floral bikini-clad Virgin of Guadalupe held aloft by a topless female angel.

At that time, a thousand Catholics gathered in front of Santa Fe's Museum of International Folk Art to express their outrage.

In addition, America Needs Fatima coordinated a campaign where Catholics sent in over 65,000 Enough is enough! protest postcards and thousands of e-mails.

Public outcry was overwhelming then.

Now, Alma Lopez’s “Our Lady” is on display at the Oakland Museum of California in Oakland, California.

Catholics are urged to protest by fax, telephone, write or e-mail the museum to express their polite yet just outrage at this egregious offense against the Blessed Mother.

Enough is enough!

Unspeakable? Give me a break. Who says this artists rendition is blasphemous, mortal beings? Even if the Pope denounces it, I still won't believe it. Remember our God is a good and loving God and he has a sense of humor..
