1976 |
Barbara Carrasco recieved her Associates of Arts degree from West Los Angeles College.
That same year, she began banner work with the union Dolores Huerta and Cesar Chavez founded, the
United Farm Worker.

1978 |
Two years later, she recieves a Bachelors of Fine Arts at University of California, Los Angeles.
Later that year, Carrasco's work "Conjunto" is exhibited @ the Galeria Otra Vez (Self Help Graphics)
in Los Angeles, CA.

1983 |
Group Exhibtion "California Murals Off the Wall" @ the Centro Cultural de la Raza: San Diego. CA

1985 |
Carrasco was personally asked to do artwork for former USSR, first in 1985 and later 1987.
The two countries she was asked to paint murals in were Leningrad & Armenia.

During this year, Carrasco was exhibited in the Latina Showcase '87 @ the Mexican Fine Arts Center
