Jessica Aurora Ellspermann

I currently attend Loyola Marymount University and will be graduating this May with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies.  I am a twin and she attends LMU as well.  I was born in Santa Monica but raised in Westchester.  I am energetic, outgoing, and a positive person.  I love to laugh and love meeting new people.  I like to have fun and hang out with my friends. Also I am a Gemini and interested in astrology.  I am a curious youthful spirit who likes to ask questions to gain more insight and understanding.  I collect Chinese fortune cookie sayings and Snapple tops.  After I graduate, I plan on saving money to buy my own camera.  I have always wanted to do some black and white photography.  I love taking photos but lately I have been taking pictures of sunsets.  My aspiration is greatly influenced by my passion for music.  I love how music transforms people and allow one to create to express him or herself. I want to own a venue and bar to have bands play and also have nights for dancing.  In addition, I want to do an ethnography but have not decided where or what culture I would like to explore.  Also I would like to get involved with education and perhaps pursue a career in academic counseling for high school or college.  I chose Diane Gamboa for music influenced her photography, which I can really relate to my own aspirations. I really enjoy her artwork and fashion for she makes me question and challenge the hegemonic society we live in whether it involves gender roles, sexuality, appearance, power, and spirituality.
